Picture Jasper Slab — Hand-Painted American Pronghorn Antelope Artist: Ruby “Runa” Shepard | Bigfoots Cabin
Presenting an extraordinary fusion of geology and fine art: a hand-painted Picture Jasper slab depicting the American pronghorn antelope, meticulously rendered by Ruby “Runa” Shepard. This piece is hand-painted directly onto a naturally patterned slab of Picture Jasper—every surface uniquely selected to complement and enhance the subject. The result is a one-of-a-kind artwork that celebrates the pronghorn’s lithe form and the rugged landscapes it inhabits, preserved on a timeless stone canvas.
Why collectors choose this piece
Handcrafted excellence: All painting is done by Ruby “Runa” Shepard—no prints, no transfers—ensuring an original work with lasting pigment and finish.
Natural integration: The slab’s innate patterns and tones are used as part of the composition, allowing the stone’s character to inform the scene and create depth impossible on conventional canvases.
Museum-quality presentation: The painting is sealed with archival-grade protectant to resist UV fading and environmental wear, preserving your investment for generations.
Thoughtful display: Each slab ships with a custom wooden easel, handcrafted to both support and showcase the stone’s presence—an ideal solution for tabletop, mantel, or entry display.
Exclusivity: Because each slab’s pattern is singular, no two pieces are the same. You acquire an artwork that is truly unique.
